Aman Verma is an experienced energy and analytics professional with expertise in researching and gathering market data and intelligence, emerging technologies, policies, and translating them into meaningful reports for informed strategic decision. He has extensive experience in oil and energy markets, commodity analytics, building data-driven decision support systems, and techno-economic and life cycle assessment of energy systems. As a Senior Analyst at Wood Mackenzie, he published oil and product markets outlook reports, insights and thought-leadership articles for clients in the oil and energy industry. Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Aman was an ORISE Research Fellow at the US Environmental Protection Agency's Assessment and Standards Division where he developed models and analysed real-world data to improve regulatory action for mobile source fuel production and vehicle emissions control strategies. Aman has won numerous awards, published a number of international journal papers, and widely quoted in the media like Bloomberg, The Economic Times, The Houston Chronicle, Reuters and S&P Platts among others. He holds an MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Energy and Environmental Engineering from the University of Alberta.
