Bolormaa Chimednamjil is an investment and project management professional who specialize in sustainable infrastructure, low carbon and green energy investment in developing and emerging markets. Currently she works at IFC, World Bank Group as an operations officer, Global Infrastructure and Natural Resources department. Her major role is to support pipeline development of pre-investment early stage venture and project development in infrastructure sectors including energy. Prior to IFC, she worked at the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), a treaty-based organization headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, where she held the positions of Green Investment Officer and Renewable Energy Analyst for the Investment and Policy Solutions Division. There, she worked to strengthen efforts to create bankable project pipeline and mobilize finance for sustainable energy development in Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa regions through leveraging public and private sector solutions, creating markets and promoting green growth. Prior to GGGI she worked at IFC as an investment analyst in Mongolia and Hong Kong offices. Bolormaa has a bachelor’s degree in finance, and a master’s degree in business administration from National University of Mongolia and Virginia International University. She completed professional certificate programs in energy innovation and climate finance from Stanford University and Frankfurt School - UNEP collaborating center.
