Clara Cuvelier is an energy professional, passionate about the socio-economic impact of the energy transition and with extensive international experience.   She is an Associate Partner at McKinsey and Company. She joined the London office in 2013 after graduating in chemical engineering and energy economics in France and gaining oil business analyst experience with Total and ExxonMobil.   At McKinsey and Company, she expanded her horizons to advise clients in the Middle East and Africa on developing long-term strategies to leverage their natural resources in an economically and environmentally sustainable way. Passionate about Middle East countries and their role in global energy markets, she relocated to the UAE in 2016. She has acquired a deep understanding of local energy sector dynamics and effectively advised hydrocarbon-rich countries on their domestic and export-oriented energy policies.
