Ola is an electrical engineer professional with 7 years of experience in electrical planning, energy modelling and Energy regulation systems. She is also a LEED green associate accredited. Ola acted as an effective team member in different projects related to Restructuring of the electricity sector  in Egypt.She worked with the World bank team and ESBI international in the project of " Restructuring of EETC to be an independent Transmission System Operator and Market Operator" and also worked with GIZ(German Corporation for International cooperation) ,Fitchner  and the Egyptian Electricity regulator to build up the Egyptian power system model on  Market Simulation and Integrated Energy Planning Software to validate the different scenarios of the Egyptian Electricity market design  .She is currently partcipationg in reviewing and updating the Egyptian Electric Power Transmission Code.She represented her company in World Green Economy Summit and WETEX 2019  in Dubai and also represented the Egyiptian member committee in the 24th WEC Congress and WEC Executive Assembly 2019 meetings.

The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) is a governmental owned company that is responsible for Management, operation and maintenance of electric power transmission grids on Extra and High Voltages across Egyp to ensure optimal economic usage of those grids along with implementation of regional interconnection projects in coordination with the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company  EEHC and exchange of electric power with other power grids interconnected to the Egyptian Grid.
