My name is Pedro Ernesto Ferreira, master’s in electrical and Computer Engineering at Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP). More recently I have started a doctoral program at FEUP/MIT and INESC-TEC – PhD on Sustainable Energy Systems. My professional career begins at EFACEC and now I’m at Energies of Portugal (EDP) the utility of Portugal. At the moment, my position at EDP is to manage a team of 3 person that work by shifts on a centre of operation, control and monitoring of all Hydroelectric park of EDP in Portugal around 6500MW at full capacity.
