Ricardo has experience in the development of analysis and studies on energy supply, demand and its socioeconomic relationship, for the implementation of public policies in the energy sector. He has collaborated in the development of medium and long-term energy plans, such as the National Energy Plan 2015-2050 of Panama. Additionally, he has collaborated in the development of medium-term public policy strategies for the integration of new sustainable technologies in an optimal and efficient way, he has studied relationships between energy consumption and social aspects, as well as the evaluation and financial reporting of companies of electricity generation. He actively participates in discussion groups on energy issues such as the group of future energy leaders of Panama. Ricardo is currently a technical energy consultant. He has a bachelor's degree in electromechanical engineering and a master's degree in finance.
