Tatenda is currently doing a postgraduate degree in Renewable Energy Systems at the Vienna University of Technology, where he is focused on renewable and efficiency systems integration; energy infrastructure challenges; demand and supply dynamics of energy resources, energy policy transfer processes, and the intersection of energy markets, new technologies and energy governance.  As an academic, he has an interdisciplinary research approach that encompasses the broad field of energy systems. His aim is to develop answers to the complex interlinking of sustainability, supply security, and competitiveness of energy systems. He has a long track record for scholarly, analyzing links between sustainable energy transitions and energy governance, and how these impact human wellbeing and contribute to poverty alleviation. He approaches energy as an economic, security and environmental concern. Tatenda holds an MBA in International Business and an MSc in International Management and Energy Economics.
